European Dynamics, Viva.com power EU CBAM system
European Dynamics and Viva.com have partnered to provide the technology and infrastructure for the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) system. This collaboration aims to facilitate compliance for businesses affected by new environmental regulations that impose tariffs on carbon-intensive goods entering the EU.
With the EU's commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, the CBAM serves as a pivotal policy tool designed to prevent carbon leakage and incentivize lower carbon footprints among EU trading partners. The involvement of established technology providers like European Dynamics and Viva.com indicates a robust approach to managing the complex requirements of this regulatory framework.
